Smith Hits 28-Month Approval Low-- 46% by: torridjoe Tue Aug 21, 2007 at 15:55:30 PM PDT Read it and weep, Gordo: in the August edition of Survey USA's monthly poll on the US Senate, Senator Smith drops to his lowest approval and net approval ratings in over two years. Asked to evaluate the job being done by the Republican from Pendleton, just 46% approved, with another 44% disapproving, for a measly +2 net approval. (Oregon's other Senator, Ron Wyden, ran a 58/33 split in August, holding steady with a +25 rating. It's not cranky Oregonians--it's you, Gordon.)
